We are a small informal group who take turns to host meetings and choose books.

Our books are mostly, although not exclusively, fiction.

We read books from all centuries, from Jane Austen, Anthony Trollope and Thomas Hardy to Helen Dunmore, Victoria Hislop and Robert Harris. We choose them 2-3 months ahead as we feel that this gives us the flexibility to react to newly published work.
