The Local History (Buildings) Group meets at The Scouts Headquarters 7 Grove Street at 10am for a 10.30am start. Coffee and biscuits, prepared by the members, are available. We have outside meetings.

In our meetings we examine buildings in and around Bath and take a great interest in the lives of people associated with these buildings. We invite outside speakers to give talks or take us on trips around Bath but more than half our meetings this year will be organised by members. We have taken as our theme for 2011 Bath through the ages starting at earliest times and coming up to the end of the 20th century.

We have around 23 members at present and welcome any one else who is interested in this topic. We pay £8 per year to cover the cost of the room hire, expenses and coffee.
