This is a long standing group, at present comprising seven or eight members.

We aspire to conversation but on the whole the group is more literary-based than conversation or grammar-based. Reading aloud in italian and then translation of a piece chosen by the host member is most usual. If there are the facilities we sometimes watch a video or film. We think it is important to hear correctly spoken italian.

The standard is about A level or beyond.
