This is a group of people who have been studying their family histories for some time. We share information, help with problems and share the various journals on family history. Each month we summarise our activities for the rest of the group and/or bring relevant articles or books to share. Some of our meetings have themes such as looking at apprentice indentures and deciphering eighteenth and nineteenth century wills.

Family-History-Online is a very small, friendly self help group. We are a mixture of novice and experienced members but no matter how long you have been researching your own family tree it is always a journey of a lifetime! We share information and help with problems but most of our research will be done on-line. If you’ve been bitten by the genealogy bug do give us a ring to join the waiting list.
