DIGITAL IMAGING I
2.00pm - Usually first Wednesday of the month in Autumn and Spring

The original Digital Imaging Group began in 2007 and has met monthly during the Autumn and Spring since then.

The focus (!) of the group is learning about and using digital cameras.

We usually have a presentation on a photographic topic followed by a "gallery session" where members are invited to show a few images to the group, possibly related to a recent presentation topic, e.g. emailing photographs, close up using "macro" facility. Members are expected to contribute to the group meetings.

DIGITAL IMAGING II
10.00 am - Second Wednesday of the month throughout the year

Digital Imaging II was set up in 2010 as the original group was full.

We are very much a self help group with both experienced and inexperienced photographers, all with something to offer because of our different skills, backgrounds and experience.

During the summer we go out on field trips in alternate months to take photographs and in the next month's meeting we show the results and comment on how they could be improved, either through different composition or by the use of digital imaging software.

During the winter months we have talks and presentations on topics chosen by the members, including, for example, downloading photographs, photographic composition and techniques and the use of digital software.
